How Does JurisTemps Implement Its Screening Process?
Because our recruiters know that JurisTemps is only as good as the talent we place, we take great care in applicant screening and skill assessment. In addition to careful resume review, each of our candidates meets via phone or in-person with a member of our recruiting staff to discuss work history, job transitions, legal conflicts, key skills, strengths and weaknesses. Employment references and state bar licensure are checked by recruiters, and software testing is available for secretarial and paralegal candidates. All applicants for temporary hire are required to submit a list of three professional references, a driver's license and a social security card. Additional background checks (including criminal, academic, credit, drug-screening, driving record/motor vehicle, etc.) are available at special rates upon client request.
