How Do I Apply?

Candidacy with JurisTemps begins with the submission of a resume and is followed by an in-depth phone or in-person interview with one of our legal recruiters. Our recruiters will spend time with you exploring your work history, job transitions, key skills and legal strengths. We will also want to discuss your job search preferences, including preferred job locations, employer types, desired salary and benefit requirements, possible legal conflicts, and more. All applicants are asked to provide three (3) professional references and any letters of recommendation. Secretarial and clerical candidates may also be asked to complete software testing and/or a legal timed typing test.

What Can I Expect From My Recruiter?

Upon completing application requirements, our recruiters will continually compare your legal experience and search preferences to open opportunities and will contact you upon locating job matches. The confidentiality of your job search is paramount and your resume will never be shared outside our office without prior consultation with a recruiter. Maintaining regular communication with your recruiter is helpful in facilitating an on-going job search and in the exchange of job-related information. Our recruiters are also available to assist with interview coaching, resume-writing concerns, and will serve as your advocate for salary negotiation.

Is There a Fee or Cost for JurisTemps' Services?

You will never be charged a fee by JurisTemps. All costs of hire are negotiated in advance and are paid by our client employers. You will never be asked nor required to refund a portion of a placement cost under any circumstance!
